Life Lessons I've Learned at 28

1. When you become a parent you realize parents make mistakes. They don't know everything and they aren't perfect.

2. As a parent you want to be better than your parents. I've realized I'm just like my mom but I think I'm parenting differently. At least so far.

3. People are idiots and you. can't correct them. You just can't fix stupid. And they keep reproducing.

4. Slightly used/worn, either bought or borrowed, is the way to go with providing toys and clothes for kids. Nothing lasts long enough to wear out. (With non destructive kids like babies).

I'm sure I have more but I'm texting from my bed and don't want to disturb Jason and Emma with my key tapping and bright light any longer :)
