My husband and I waited later in life to get married, me in my late 20s him his late 30s. We decided to have children just a few years after being married in order to watch them grow up while still young enough to keep up with them. We on purpose-accidentally conceived our second child when our first was just 6 months old. Honestly, we thought it might take longer to conceive. No oops though, I LOVE being pregnant and have a wonderful husband who turned into a fabulous father. All that being said, of course I want what's best for my children but with two little ones we have to shop wisely. We share baby clothes with friends and family and I buy most of their toys and clothes second hand. My boys don't know the difference! I rarely pay full price for ANYTHING. 2025 update: We now have 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. Still buying used clothes, toys, and shoes. They’ll ruin anything. No sense in paying a lot of money for it.
